POST 3: My dream job.

My dream job is work like an illustrator on internet. It´s so funny, because I will draw on my tablet all the time and create original characters or draw fanart of my favorite series/characters. I will have my own times; my own schedule and I will do something that I really enjoy. I will doing illustrations with watercolors, temperas, oils...whatever I want.
Ok, not every is pink, because I will draw things that I won´t like too, but I will be my own boss and that´s okey for me.

For the same, be my own boss, I need a lot of abilities, like be more organized, more patient, more constant and I can´t be floppy because if I don´t work, I won´ t have money, and If I don´t have money, I won’t eat something. Yes, It´s terrible, but that´s the true. An illustrator needs to be their own lawyer, boss, employee, accountant, community manager, etc. It´s a lot of work, but I want that anyway.

Oh, I will need to know things about arts, but I study arts right now so I can understand how is that world of the colors, anatomy, etc. I do my own original characters too, and I have a page of Instagram where do I upload some of my illustrations. I believe I’m started in that world.

These are some of my ilustrations work. Kenma and Akaashi of Haikyuu!! My Ig is _a.ik.a if you wanna follow me ;)

But my salary would be limited. In Chile the arts and Illustration isn’t highly valued, that’s means what I can´t makes lot of money like an engineer, lawyer, or doctor, but If I try and I'm good, I will earn $800.000 pesos approximately.

It´s the same in visual art, my career, but I can´t avoid loves arts, specially, the paint. That´s the reason why I study visual arts because I can do my own works, study the colors, the history of the arts, all things that makes me feel like...alive.

I just hope what my plans go well. :´)

Bye bye <3

POST 2: The best Holiday ever.

I’ve been in Perú the year 2019 and that was my favorite holyday in the world until now, Merry Christmas and New Year, because all the things what I will tell you. I went on “vacation” with my sister and my mom to visit my aunt Loli for one month in December. We stayed on her house with my cousins, Darely and Sergio and her husband, Fito.

This travel isn´t like a holyday conventional because the gift was what we could travel to other country and stay with part of our family for a long time, and we didn´t celebrate merry Christmas with decoration like a tree and New year with alcohol or something like that for the beliefs of my aunt and her family. We just had something delicious and special for dinner. But, on the other hand, we could travel a lot.

Well, we stayed in the Adventist University of Peru, so we weren´t close of the Lima, the city center where be the things more interesting, in my opinion. We visited the city or commune of Miraflores, a beautiful place with a magical sculpture, “the lovers”. I took many photos of this, and I really love the sky with those so warm colors.

"The lovers"

So, I remember what we visit “the cathedral” in the center of Lima, and we visited other places, but I can´t remember the names and I didn’t take photos of that, but it was like a water park with lights and shows, and a place to get wet.

Yes, this's stranger, but is my favorite holydays because I was able to leave the country with my family for first time, and that´s all I need to have an amazing memory of that. Just like "i could be in Peru for all a mounth for the Chrismast and New Year, yeah, you know".
Can you understand that? I hope yes.

Regards!

POST 1 : A country I would like to visit.

Hello everyone, today I’m going to talk about a country that I want to visit in the future: Ireland.

The truth is I don´t know much about this country, but it always seemed to me a place green, interested, and magical, especially magical; and I like it because I have heard about the legends in this place, or about the heroes like Diarmuid, or I have seen photos on internet and the landscapes are beautiful. My prefer thing are the heroes and the landscape, but that´s topic about other post.

Diarmuid and Grainne, leyend.

Anyway, I don´t know a lot, so I prefer to visit this country only like a tourist first, and maybe in the future live here for three or two years. I need investigated more today, because in the past, when I was an adolescent, I investigated about Ireland, but I forgot all.

When I know more, I can share all my progress about this with you, if you want, and you can help me to decide if I should live in Ireland or not.

Google Arts and Culture

This page is great to search for different paintings or artists and see the paintings in detail. If you´re an artist or you´re interesting in the arts, in general, you can use and enjoy this website.

Google arts is an extension of google related to the arts (obviously). If you want to know more about artistic techniques, important characters, places, artistic movements, color, or a museum in 360° you can use the section “explorer” and navigate until you find something you like or catch your eye.

It also has games to play alone or with friends. Games like, how much you know about x topic, or where is x character, play with music or do test, too. I don't use a lot of this section, but it looks funny.

Oh, this website has a map where you can search the museums closer to you to do a visit.

All this is great, yeah, sounds exciting, but my favorite section is “favorites” because with this, I can save all the themes, paintings, and characters what I want to watch later. It´s cool because I can zoom the image until I see the brushstroke of the artist and, thanks to that, I can study to replicate the way in which the artist made his artworks. This is the reason why I like it.

Unfortunately, I just visit this page 2 or 3 times in one month, but I recommend it anyway. Maybe someone can take advantage of google arts better than me.

A R T

I’m interested in art since I was a little kid. When I was 6 years old, I painted a lot with my color’s pencils and my gouaches, all the time I wanted paint on my block or do something artistic. I never stopped painting, but I thought was better if I don´t study arts because I didn´t like to study history of arts, and my cousin told me “You need study a lot of history to do a great artist”.

In any case, is for the practice that I’m good at observing and copying what I see to paint it. I think that’s my best artistic abilities because I can “translate” what I see to do a painting very similar and I love do this.

I like paint in oil, watercolor or gouaches, the artists landscapes and their themes in their paintings seems beautiful for me. I like the “bodegones” too, but I’m not sure why I like it. With this type of art, I feel something special, you know? Like a connection what I can’t express in words. Is the type of art what I enjoy more. And my favorite artist or painter is Leonardo da Vinci for what he represents and his genius in the arts. Maybe, I love his character more that his paintings because we don´t know all about him and his personality and his paintings aren’t really “wow” neither for me, but something about he is special, the same way what the paint itself.

Baby, baby, baby.

Hello again. It´s my ice cream/cat, Irú, when it was a little baby. My dad took this photo with him cellphone 5 years ago. I know, this isn’t the most beautiful and important photo of the world, but I love how my cat looks so pretty, small and tender on top of sofa while it´s sleeping.

Irú was always a curios and hyperactive cat, it usually goes for the house looking for something to play with it, so, when it was still and relaxed, we needed to take a photo to remember that moment, and, please, it´s very nice! We needed capturer that.

Today Irú is nice still, but when it was a baby…I can´t explain with words, but, sometimes I wish that my cat go back to be more small and delicate, then, I’ll put it in my hands and rock or snuggle without problems. I like this photo because I remember that moments with nostalgic and a lot of love.

My baby. <3
